Help Support 4GTuner:

I bet when the Nemo Evo rolled out of the sheds people were like WTF??? But that 125.02... dayam thats insane!!
I was sort of expecting to see a 1:27 or perhaps a 1:26 this year but that 1:25.02 was almost a 1:24 and totally blitzing everybody else!
lol.. the guy in the Supra was having a bit of fun.

I would so watch/be interested in our big national motorsport event if it still had cars like that in it! Stupid bloody falcodore racing club -_-

Supra sounds tough!

Nemo is fast but for some reason, I'm just not into it. Much prefer something that somewhat resembles a car that could be driven on the street. Wide bodies and spoilers that maintain the shape of the base vehicle are ok. Nemo looks half sedan, half formula race car spec with all its flaps and blades. You can't even tell that it is an Evo. Sorry Nemo fans....

I drove 1100ks the day before to sydney on the thursday to get to WTAC, I was the same, was not expecting 1:25 flat.

Especailly when Nemo looked well down on straightline speed. I was hopeing that it would be the year for the Tilton Evo :(

It was also good seeing and Evo win the drifting as well with Naoto Suenaga Claiming 1st position

I am diffiently going back next year, hopefully will see Gorges machine there :)

I think Nemo build was to make a statement and stance that this is what the future of Time attack could be like, I have had a quick look at the requirements for Pro and open class and there done not seem to be to many restrictions to aerodynamics

Quote from WTAC Open and Pro class rules:

Aerodynamics
• Aerodynamic aids are unrestricted with the exception of cars utilizing mechanical force to create a low pressure area under the vehicle.

I guess with that interpretation, that the future will see more cars with crazier aero packages.

I too personally like to more resemblance as a road car however it appears that Nemo has proven what aero can do with a car. I was also thinking that with the high winds this may have been a disadvantage for extreme amounts of aero but the results on the day show otherwise.

makes you want to race out and slap on a big arse ironing board on the back boot. and race around the local streets like a tool.

Oh sorry thats right I dont own a WRX or a commonwhore.

Is the Nemo the same one that was getting around QR the other week doing some testing?
they both have the same gull wing door and extreem setback on the drivers seat.

Also love the alternator driven by the tailshaft idea.

^ Thats the one Troy....And what a beast it is !!
