heres a couple of vids from my trip to wta @ eastern creek.
the car was a bit of a battle as we had to run on old tein shocks that are a bit stuffed instead of the arogustas we were meant to run.
managed 5th outright in open class though which is awesome, lots left in the car which is good to know.

Very good George! It felt like I was playing gt5 watching you drive. What sort of power does that Evo pack?

380 @ the wheels,runs a hks 3240 28psi on E85, the car and driver are too heavy though.
Also dropping time with the standard gearbox, every car in front of us at wta had a dog box

Good vids mate, I see it was a handfull in the second vid. Understeered a lot by the looks of it, defiantly a lot of power there tho. Well done on getting 5th with the way the car was handling...

Yeah, the tyres would overheat very fast (soft compound) and then it turned into an understeering pig.
The setup is far from what it could be so that wont help. In the last run of the day when the track had cooled it was a little better but then I had traffic

I ran hards in practice and it wasnt too bad. but still not bad, the time I did would have put me in 2nd by a mile last year so its all good.

At my best I was hitting 248kmh on the straight, quick tap of the brake and turn in at about 225-230kmh, dropping down to 197kmh
on the apex(slowest point), then full throttle again. I was really hanging off it to do that speed though, on averedge I was about 8kmh slower

I think it might be the only early to have ever run in wta though so thats one 1st I'll get lol

Last year we did the road trip for WTA from Sunshine Coast Queensland. We left the Thursday afternoon and arrived at Eastern Creek 7am the next morning. Set up the canopy on the top of the hill on the final turn looking down the main straght and that was the start of an awesome weekend of cars, partying and no sleep. Deffiently hitting it up this year but thinking of flying down the day before
