Hey all,
In a month or so, the galant GSR I bought as a parts donor will be undriveable, and a wreck.
So, if anyone wants anything, hit me up. It's maroon, and uber straight, it has perfect glass. The ECS works, (controllers fine, dampening adjuster servos are fine) but the air shocks are screwed. All panels are great, there is only a tiny pin dent in one of the doors. It is so very clean it seems a shame to cut its front off. Oh, and once piece of the chrome piece is broken.
It's auto, engine has 200,000 on it but hot damn it goes hard. It has a pretty much a complete service history. The gearbox is probably rooted, theres no second gear or overdrive.
Interior is mint as too.
Has an aftermarket sunroof.
What I am keeping
All front panels + nose cone (not bumper, indicators, headlights or grille though)
Brake prop valve
Non cruise control accel cable + steering column
(these two things mean that the ABS and cruise control from my VR4 will be for sale.. when I get them out of the car - as an aside, the ABS does work but one of the wheel speed sensors is poked, and I really prefer the brake feel of non ABS)
Most of the wiring loom, unless someone really needs it.
Internal door switches, again unless someone needs them desperately, dome lights etc.
I'm gunna keep the electric window motors, unless someone takes a whole door. Keep in mind GSR doors wont fit sedans directly, you need the window frame and glass from a sedan. Skin is the same.
I guess realistically most people have VR4's, so most parts are useless, however on the off chance someone needs something, let me know, or else the whole thing is going to scrap.
If someone in SA has a galant with rear damage and wants to look into a possible swap for the cars (since the GSR shell is friggin perfect) before I have the front cut off, hit me up. (ie you cut the front nose cone panel off your damaged galant, give it to me, you put all your bits into the GSR.)
