ok guys as we all know i want to make the trip down for wtac but i can't find a wingman to help with costs etc.

so i was wondering if any locals would mind/allow me to set up a tent in their yard for 3-4 nights?

the night before the event i will arrive set up shop be at the event all day back to sleep and same again for the 3 days sleep on the final night and pack up in the morning and be gone.

willing to get the host a renumeration package of whatever trade currency you wish to deal in and even tickets to the event should you want to tag along with me

Do you know anyone with a caravan? you could tow it down and sleep in that on any road you want :)
I take it that all accommodation in the area is BOOKED eh.

Why not borrow a station wagon or a 7 seater van? You can fold the back seats down to make a bed and sleep in it - it will be warmer than a tent :)

There is accomodation still available I had a look at the local areas, not super cheap though especially on a fly in budget.
Coming from hobart the weekend was gonna set me back around $500...
I'm in two minds about coming up, I LOVE time attack but on a tight budget this year and wanting to go to MotoGP as well is going to make it difficult.

What kind of rules Kyle?
All anyone would really need is a place to sleep. You'll only return after dark to crash out, go to bed, wake up, shower then go off to WTAC in the morning again.
I remember going to Summernats with my brother and cousin and we couldn't find accommodation. We slept in the car, woke up in the morning, went to the local swimming pool, had a swim, a shower, got dressed then went for a big day #2 lol

Hey i'll head around to my mates place this arvo see what his mrs can do for accomidation she works at the chifley in penrith, its only 20 minutes from the track.

I'd offer my backyard, but i think the dog would have other ideas.

Dude, just grab one of these: http://www.campertra...&v=0&vt=1&ch=50
Look for the white Juicy Sleeper Toyota Torago for $50 a day, or the green and purple Toyota Torago for $62.50 a day.
They have a fridge, cooker, double bed, sink and water tank.
Hire it from Brizzy and return to Brizzy over 4 days :)

This guy, he knows.

Can't believe i didn't think of that.... i did a rough quote online pick up and drop off in bris on 16th and drop off on the 21st total is $236 which is pretty good, unlimited Ks etc etc.

And you'd get one of these bad boys!!!

I think this is the answer you have been looking for dude!!

It sleeps two so you can take along a friend and halve the cost.... lol
There might be someone else in Brissy area or nearby that might want to join you on the road trip.
