WTB: 1x 17" 5spoke HR125 or Ozzy 080 rim

I know this is a long shot of finding someone that has one of these for sale but I thought I may as well try.

I got a hairline crack in one of my rims so I need to replace it asap and dont really wanna have to fork out $300 just for one rim and tyre.

The wheels I have are the Ozzy Racing 080 in Gold, which is a clone of the HR125 (more expensive and better quality). I will consider any colour.

Will take one with or without tyre (I need a 205/40/17)

Preferably located in Adelaide but will pay for postage if interstate.

Attached is a photo of what they look like. I only need 1 wheel, but will take 2 if the price is right and their available!

email me at [email protected] (if you want to call me, email and ill give you my number)

i was told cracks in wheels simply cant be fixed. But then again, that was the tyre place that told me that, so they might have just been trying to get me to buy their wheels. I will however be giving a wheel repair place a call tomorrow (they re-rolled a sparco rim that had a 5cm indentation and its still going strong!).

They also said that if you drive on a flat tyre, you can tell the tyre is rooted by taking the tyre off the rim and checking for loose rubber. Is this true, or is it another thing they may have made up to get me to buy a new tyre?

um.... steel belted radials when running on deflated tyres still wont screw up the tyre structual integrity but will eat the crap out of the sides of the tred .... dunno were the loose rubber comes from? never came accros that before......

and if its only a hair line crack, they should be able to weld it, machine it, and balance it and its back to normal, if it was a huge crack then it would be time to get a new rim.......
