WTB: Black Carpet for CC Sedan/Coupe

Am chasing some good quality black carpet for my CC Coupe. Not the crappy standard stuff, but if anybody knows where I can pick up some good quality molded to shape carpet - that would be appreciated.

i got quotes from them not long ago because the plastic on my drivers side is all haggered.

Carpets cost, loop pile $130-00, plush pile $140-00, super plush $180-00, classic loop $250-00 plus $25-00 for shipping.

What sort of carpet is everybody using? I don't want the "pimp mobile" shag-pile style carpet....

Go with the low plush pile which is a trimmed carpet with low fibres so dirt is easier to vacuum off it. Whatever you do, dont buy the loop piles as dirt and twigs etc get trapped in bettwen the loops and are harder to remove. As always, you need the underlay as well otherwise your carpet will wear away quickly from excessive movement, heat and moisture. The underlay keeps out the heat and noise and is softer underfoot for all round comfort

Goodstuff! Thanks guys. I'll give that carpet place a call in the new year and pick up some low plush pile stuff. Good point re the underlay Rob, the car IS noisy.
