im located in melbourne and im looking for a boost controller to boost up my rvr, last one i used boost wasnt great at all so yeah....

what type do u want, manual or electronic??

Whats your price range??

With boost controllers it basically "you get what u pay for"

im probably looking for a manual boost controll but if theres a cheap electronic one somewhere lyring around i dont mind

Best boost controler these days for the price is an AEM TRU BOOST

I'll be getting 1 shortly to replave my Apexi AVC-R

I have an oldschool Apexi AVCR that did the job on my old GSR.. it comes with a Greddy turbo timer also as theyre currently stuck to each other. Id sell it for $150 the lot. comes with all wiring and solenoids etc.

In melb too. Let me know if your interested.

Cheers,
Chris

Yeh i know the AVCR is 1 of the best, im just over it coz i have no where to mount it except throw it in the glove box, the thing is scratched to shithouse and i ended up painting it black lol

I was gonna get an eboost 2 to fit in 1 of the the guage holes i have, but then i seen the tru boost and they would match my aem wideband in the dash

The AVCR is a nice reliable piece of gear. Its piss easy to install, understand and navigate around. The multi display may look a bit dated but dont let that sway you. It allows up to 4 preferences to be displayed onscreen at once in easy to see digital numbers. Its also got some really cool features that you'll have to read up on. They still fetch a hefty pricetag though.
I've got one in my glovebox out of sight and set to maximum boost all the time. I dont need to fiddle around with the settings as I know wtf its set at and I'll know if there is a differentiation in the boost levels from feel
Most of the big brand EBCs do similar jobs and it comes down to preference, ease of installation and use and where you are going to install it.
