I have a couple of spare centre diff. Does it matter what they're out of? IE GSR, Evo, vr4?

evo and gsr are the same, not 100% sure on vr4

Have you read about the guy using the cross from a rear diff into the centre diff?
Then builds the carrier up to locate the cross positively. I think he has run 2 seasons into the 9s without popping a centre diff
