WTB: Coilover REAR Strut top

As topic states,

Urgently after a pair of rear strut tops off an aftermarket coilover to suit evo1-9 / GSR
Any brand.

Any help would be appreciated.

sorry for the **** house description, i was after the pair ie both left and right

i had alot of trouble finding mine and had to get them from japan.

all evos have the same rear tops..also same as fto.

if it helps i have a set of factory rear tops with new genuine bushes
in them

unfortunately OEM tops are no good thanks anyway dougmo.

more info alex,what are you fitting them too? do you have noisy tops now?

fitting them to ohlins mate.

no noise, i've just found that OEM strut tops do not suit them as the coilover spring has a ground end, whereas OEM springs have open ends; the OEM strut top spring bush is designed for open end springs and hence the coilover spring does not sit properly in it.

Ok found out Toperformance in Vermont (VIC) sell plates that fit into the OEM strut to suit coilover coils; they have plates to suit ID 60 & 65 coils.
$65 each

Also Centreline in Thomastown said they can help me out but need to have a look at the coilovers first.
I'm guessing this will cost abit more.

Will sus both options out and see which one is cheaper/better.

problem solved.
went and spoke to the guys at Centreline. They showed me how to properly assemble the strut top onto the coilover and gave me some spacers at no cost cant be any happier!!

So I highly recommend Centreline in Thomastown (VIC) for any coilover issues.
