Whichever option you choose, your car should run OK - however I would strongly suggest regardless of what ECU you purchase you put your car on the dyno to make sure the settings will give you a reliable drive which won't grenade your engine.
My car ran perfectly fine with the socketed ECU. Rob at CREATD in Campbellfield tuned and burnt a chip for me and the ECU supported 220kw atw with factory reliability, except it had the all the factory limiters removed. The only time I had to incur an extra cost was when I changed my cam setup and had to get another chip tuned and burnt.
