Just wondering where i could get hold of a full EVO III body kit, either brand new or second hand, but would prefer brand new, thanks.

Hey there...

I have got some skirts off Fibre Motive and know of another person who has bought a hood off them before... They do some good stuff...

I got a genuine Evo III bar off meek, but that was the only one they had.. They had some Evo II ones and skirts, but if you are set on getting the III kit, go through ebay and some of the other places like jet speed...

Thanks for your help guys, i had a look at the carmate site and they had what i needed apart from the rear bar. is there much difference between these kits and genuine evo kits

also, one actually fits properly, whereas the other one doesnt :)

Jetspeed In Clayton do a good job, there kits are fitted to your car well, but the cost is simelar to a genuine kit. Tehy are not just the crap you can buy pre made from Carmate etc. You gotta realise Genuine plastic kits dont grow on tree's, they come off cars so there are only a certain amount of them out there and people tend to want them so good luck in your search, but give Andrew at CVAP an email, he seems to come across them every now and then, http://www.cvap.com.au/

CVAP had 2 genuine Evo III bars when I was looking... Was just going to cost me too much in postage and stuff... But yeah, they are a good supplier of parts too ...

Just so you are aware If you put a genuine Evo front bar on your car it will "fit" but Evo guards are wider at the front than GSR guards, so there will be a small section of the front bar protruding below the join of the guards, (between indicator & wheel arch) If you get a good fibreglass bar made this problem can be eliminated, unless you do as many do and get Evo guards also. Also as finding the original lower lip section of an Evo 3 bar is like finding chooks teeth a fibreglass copy usually has this section built in. Don't wanna sway you at all to much just letting you kno there are pro's and cons each way. I myself have had to put Evo guards to match the new front bar on my car - more money I didnt have to spend.

I hear you on that one... I was lucky enough to find one though... In great condition also.. Just 1 little crack ....

Thanks for that bit of info. I gave Andrew at CVAP a call today and he also informed me of how hard it is to find the lower splitter on the front bar, so might have to go after market. Thank for your info.
