There was/is an evo2 one on ebay few days ago....

Why not an evo8 MR one?

well i made the post for a guy that has tarmack evo3 and one of the requirements everything has to be stock so as long they fit and are original then he's more then happy to buy.

So if anyone has anything then please let me know. Gvr40 has a vr4 blow off but we're not to sure if they fit evo3's

I may have one - I'm not sure what a stock evo3 BOV looks like either but I will take a pic tomorrow and we'll find out.

I do have a VR4 stock BOV though, looks like this :



As far as I am aware there is no flange for it on the evo.. so unless he's able to mod the piping it's a no-go... the evo 3 bov is a plastic thing I think, just hose clamps in.

i believe evo 1-9 interchange though

Well, theyr'e metal to start with.. and are able to hold more pressure without leaking due to stiffer spring.

I wonder why Mitsusishi developed the metal BOV for the MR and then went back to a plastic one for the 9? Surely this would have to be a step backwards IMO.

Honestly, I don't think it's THAT much more expensive to make the metal one OEM on all the evo's?

The VR4's all had a metal one as standard! And most of the EVO's had plastic.. It doesn't quite add up for me..
