i found mine after a few weeks. But im patient and a tight arse. Once i got mine i stopped looking. I dont even remember those sonata and i havent seen one on the road now i know what im looking for. Gem engines on ebay were selling a couple of recon ones at similar time but i didnt want one of them.
not sure how rare they are, i had a few leads but never followed them up as i got one and the leads were fairly labour intensive (drive a couple of hours just to see if it was the cs and then pull engine if it was.

One of the reasons I sold mine was that I couldn't find a spare - I didn't want to build and tune my car around a setup I couldn't replicate if the block was damaged and couldn't be replaced.

Nice one ! have they got any more ? I need one as well, as I reckon I've found all the limited units in Adelaide. I'm happy to ship here if you can lead me in the right direction. It's so much easier these days dealing just with 7 bolt stuff !! I was super lucky in finding a really early Nimbus at our U Pullit, but hell, they are hard to find !!
