sorry for hassling your post... but can i just guess - lid snapped off your current one?

i cant believe how dodgy mitsi designed them - a hinge made out of plastic on the lid.

I ended up buying really small hinges (real metal ones) from hardware shop, and screwing those on my lid and its been perfect since.

anyway good luck in finding one - free bump
