WTB: GSR odds n ends

Wanted To Buy. In Melbourne, pref Sth East suburbs. .
Im after a few bits for my GSR Lancer, hope someone can help.
1: genuine oil cap for a 4g93.
2: Front gaurd inner/liner for pasenger side.(Flimsy plastic thing) Gsr/evo CC lancer.
3: Cam gear/belt cover.

4: Complete Evo3 RS front cut! LOL just dreamin :wink:

hey trev..

the cap and guard liner you can buy from mitsubishi fairly cheap.

from memory the cap was 16 bucks and the guard liner was 24 bucks.

the guard liners are more than that?

does the gsr have the cut outs like an evo for the oil cooler?

is the cam gear/tbelt cover same as the vr4, if so i have one here

i dont know dougmo, but when i went late last year to mitsubishi it was only 24 bucks. i still got my reciept if you want to see it

the cap is the same as most other mitsubishi's
nothing special about the gsr 1, but dont they look the same as a magna oil cap, cause the magna 1 fits the same

i bought a new oil cap recently from autobarn and it was like $13

I'll try mitsu for the cap n liner then. The liner does have fluted vents in it if thats the same as a evo im not sure.

The cambelt cover is diff to vr4, specifically for a 4g93.
This i really need coz if a stone pops in there **** could hit the fan.

Since when???? I used to work there not long a go and they never had any for a 4g93.........

The evo liner is wider than a gsr one to reach the bar for the wider guards.....

yeap.. i got gsr ones under my evo guards and they aren't wide enough, but you can't really notice it..

Olly you surely got a bargain !!! I just rang somebody that I know at Preston motors and they said $65 :shock: ....... and thats trade price to me......... :?

Any one kno where I can get the the EVO guardliners? CVAP had none last time I checked, Anyone wanna lend me there EVO VIN so I can ask my mate that works at Mitsubishi to look them up new!? My GSR one for the left hand side is buggered and as Olly has just confirmed my suspision that I need Evo ones to fit properly on both sides. But if you find a hoard of GSR suitable ones Trev, let me kno!

Cheap enuff, but i think i'd have to paint it black so as not to get laughed out of scruitineering!
