i'm after one of those aluminium intake pipes. just thought i'd try locally before i order one from the u.s.
or if anyone is interested in a group buy ($125au before combined discount), let me know.

the ct9a afm is about an inch smaller (3.25" dia.).. is there anyone out there that supplies the '609' afm style silicone intakes at a reasonable price?

im running one and my silicon piece matches up ok.
but you can always get a reducer which will fix it all up.

im using the AVO intake,

thats on the 609 afm.
it seems as though i've used some sort of silicon reducer, dont have it infront of me,
i do recall a bit of a tight squeeze to get it on, but all good

hey dean piss off the restrictive pod & adapter and do yourself a favour and get a K&N or similar with shed loads more flow than that one you have on at present

HKS racing super suction is what i have.

but apparently those cheap 3a ones i think they're called are the BOMB.

never tried em though.

also that ebay intake pipe.. any good guys..?

I have the HKS one too, I'll be dithching it. With air filters , its not about flow but filtering. Some flow great, but filter poorly.

mmm perhaps.
i better get a new one before it all gets fixed.
hook me up.

yes mate, thats where the other part of it gets attached.
One hose to the cooler piping, the other to the air intake.

with this pod K&N Universal Pod Filter 4" Inlet 5" Long

as you can see this new K&N type is an instant upgrade over what you have on there now :w00t: just think flow bro

I should get Mark to flow bench test a stack of them I've collected for making air box templates ,for some results in a graph so you can see what flows best.
Spewing I dont have the access/ability to do the filtering side of the graph

Would be interesting to see how Simota filters go against K&N's- i've used them a few times in the past and they are awesome value for money and are almost identical to the more expensive option (K&N)
