Hi Guys,

Need for a mate.. Ifd you hasve one or could pint me in the right direction that would be great.

Clutch pack rear lsd 3.909 ratio $900
Viscous lsd with drive shafts 3.909 $550
Both are avail ex stock.

how much of a difference would a viscous be to a clutch pack type?

performance wise (60 ft times etc)

In a road car I would have either. The viscous diff is good in day to day use. As long as it does not get too hot they work fine . (I have one in my E3). For competition or hard road use a clutch pack(mechanical) is the way to go. Later this year I will be doing some club sprints and will most likley change to mechanical. At the moment the car is a daily driver that occasionally has a bit of a hard time on a winding road. The viscous is fine.

I suspect that you would have to use just the mechanical LSD carrier. (provided spline is the same)The viscous would not fit.
