Cams Competition Licence:
Go to cams.com.au web site fill out form L2S Licence, fax in, pay money.

To be eligible to bring in yourself there have been some changes of late IE they are now dividing Race from Rally imports as such, no longer can you bring one in as race/rally conditions its either one or the other.

If its race conditional import you will need time results from track days competed already ie to prove you will be tracking the car. (not drag strip slips either)

For4 a drag car these can be bought from people that have them in the country already and can never have any chance of being race or rally rego'd

Rally conditional is how its always been you must possess a National Rally Competition lic.

They have tightened up the system as it was being abused but that's the way it goes I suppose a few spoil it for the rest

what if you wanted to get in to racing but had not done it yet so had no results? rules seem unfair

yeah- and what if the trackdays you were racing at weren't timed!!

You can do track days in a street car and get timed results so there is no excuse at all.

It also sorts out the dreamers from the real deals, anyone that wants to get involved in circuit racing can easily get some results from timed track days, also you will need to get some kind of practice in before you commit to the sport.

Rules seem unfair
well 15year import rule Now thats an unfair rule.

Your better to look local at already bought in race rally evo's without all the head aches IMHO.

I know some importers of race Rally GSR Evo's make you sign a stat dec to cover their ass in case you try and rebirth it.
