Hi guys
Chasing the following parts: (mostly bits that just get crushed or thrown away - so if you have em, nows the time to make a bit of coin on what are normally throwaways)

Must be from 2.0L turbo 4G63T RVR or Chariot GT - preferrably manual

Complete uncut engine loom.
Complete uncut interior dash loom.
All three engine mounts (not gearbox mount at this stage).
Air con dash control unit DIGITAL TYPE (not turn dials or row of push buttons along top)
Air con unit, heater unit, blower unit - to go with the above control and dash loom.
Air con compressor to match the above.
White dial speedo cluster - manual preferred.

Basically I have a tidy manual 1995 UF Nimbus 7 seater and have just dismantled my Evo 3.
Gonna turn it into a FWD Chariot GT.

Any other parts needed I haven't thought of plus ideas on upgrading the rear drums on the Nimbus would be great.

Won't be easy, the rvr used a different CAS that sat in the cam pulley, also they had a different throttle body and a few other sensors

I have an rvr sports gear engine loom here that was from an auto

I know these differences coz I compared it to the evo engine loom and they are way different

Will the evo 3 engine loom that goes with my motor plug up to the RVR dash loom?
Should do aye?

It should, from comparing dash loom plugs, there is only 3 or 4 different wires than can easily be spliced

Hey mate, have a look at my link. I live just around the corner in mudgeerabe if you want see the car running sometime before I take the engine out

I've had a quick peek up under the glovebox of the Nimbus. The ECU and MFI Relay are both located right there.
Now I was gonna use an RVR dash loom purely because I like the digital air con dash control (which would have meant changing over all the air con, heater and blower units too), however thats a lot of rooting around just for the look of the air con controls.
At a glance, the Nimbus plugs look similar.
Do you know if my Evo 3 engine loom will plug up to the Nimbus dash loom? This would be the easier option.

I've done a few tricky conversions over the years and am aware of all the extra bullshit and stuff that can arise .... but "in theory" this should be rather straight forward.

I'm thinking that if I mount my Evo 3 engine using the Nimbus box (for now), and using RVR engine mounts, that should be perfect.
Then use the Evo 3 engine loom, ECU, MFI Relay and fuel pump .... plug up to the Nimbus dash loom .... it should be pretty much good to go right? Maybe a couple of wires needing splicing but shouldn't be too involved.
Thoughts?

The other thing is what hubs or discs and callipers will go on the rear to replace the drums?
Will the CB GSR rear disc and calliper set-up fit?
It appears that the front brake set-up is identical to the CB GSR and HH VR4 stuff (just 20mm less diameter).
Thoughts on this?

Cheers for your advice :)

Would be interested in viewing your set-up. Cheers.
Please SMS me and I will call you to arrange a look-see :)

hey mate, probably have a auto rvr loom at work complete, but i have just sent a message to my mate that bought my old engine package from manual rvr, see if he kept the loom from it, i know i still have the ecu and afm from it in the shed.
from what i have seen of the bearing part numbers, and front hubs and stuff i think the rear axle setup is the same as the ca/cb lancers and should be able to adapt the rear brakes off the cb gsr to suit the nimbus.
may have some of the other rvr gear at work also. ill have a look for ya.
