WTB: Silicon Vacuum hoses

As much as i love Canberra it really sucks when it comes to fining parts. I would liek to replace all vacuum hoses in my engine bay with some silicon Jobbys. Anyone got this stuff for sale or know where to get it?

And do i need 4mm 6mm or both??

i went to bunnings and got 5mil clear hoses ! they do the job perfect !!! and is only about 45cents per metre .

You'll want LOTS of hoseclamps. These things blow off like crazy.

cable ties :lol: when i use to use silicon il blow them off for fun !!! these one work heaps better !!!! my mates use to laugh at me. but there all using them now !!

I've seen heaps of guys use cable ties and it can look quite neat (I havent... yet lol :lol: )

nah they dont go hard baz as heat applys to it they go soft and the good thing is they dont suck closed.

I got a Samco kit from HyperTech Automotive.... they don't carry a huge range so they had to order it in.. only took a few days

Grumbly with the cordia is in SA but can do samco hoses nice and cheap
