not meaning to hijack guys but i have this conversation with people repeatedly at my work...

why would you put a second hand auto tensioner on your timing belt when they are available aftermarket or genuine for not the much, it's a little bit more to pay for peace of mind, i know i don't want my tensioner giving up on me and causing all my valves to bend.

I have a head here. Complete. ex. Enteran. I haven't used it but it looks ok.

As for the tensioner....get a NEW one. Don't ever use 2nd hand tensioners! If you do....you will wish you had spent the $100odd for a genuine one when your up for new valves...

nope, first time the **** tensioner let go..my fault

2nd time bought the new tensioner but i let someone from work fit the head up..

the joys of working on a car.. :cry: lol
