Hi all
As topic states Im after a W5M33 GSR 58-tooth front diff crownwheel please (normal open diff PCD).
I thought I had one here ready to assemble one of my spare boxes but as it turned out when I went to bolt it on I discovered its one of the rare RS GSR 58 tooth crownwheels for a front viscous LSD (totally different PCD and centre hole size and probably worth its weight in gold :p )
Thanks

I have a dead gsr box in the shed I was going to build a a spare for the daughters car......but well things change.
how much do you want to pay for it?

Not sure what you mean Brian... the box or the crownwheel? :)
Im actually in the middle of assembling 3 x GSR gearboxes together as I write this (Im in the garage on the laptop) and Im just one 58-tooth crownwheel short of finishing one of them off. I would prefer just the crownwheel.

I can finish two boxes off no problem, but the third one might just have to sit there waiting til I find another crownwheel.

OR, I have EVO 1 (64 tooth) and EVO 3 (63 tooth) crownwheels spare I can use but that will change the final drive ratrios obviously to suit an Evo rear diff ratio.

Cool. Thanks Brian, Simon and Dane :)
I'll be happy with just a crownwheel or better yet if it comes as a set with its matching 15 tooth output pinion.
But if I can grab two sets now it would save me the headache of chasing another set down the track.
Let me know what price you guys want for your set.
1 Set = 1 x 58 tooth GSR open-diff crownwheel plus a matching 15 tooth output pinion that mates up against it.

Oh, and I almost forgot. I also need a GSR first gear. Its the big 35 tooth gear on the intermediate shaft. If one of you has one of them let me know how much you're after :)

Rob

Hey Chase, the second set I was asking about was actually for you because I knew you wanted me to track a set down to install into your evo box
I only need one set. The second set is yours.

Hi guys, still looking for these parts please.
Gotta be people out there with dead GSR gearboxes looking to part out.
thanks

forgive me for being rude and hi jacking your post, but can i ask for some shims for my gearbox which is waiting for its final shims so i can close it up. i chasing:

1.4 to 1.48mm input shaft spacers and,
1.83 to 1.88mm intermediate shaft spacers.
i know the inter shaft needs real fat ones and will prob need to make them up from two shims.
cheers and sorry.

I will need to find out which ones I need myself to put my own boxes together
Im not at that stage yet as I've been working 6-day weeks lately and Sundays I try to spend as much time as possible with the kids.
Until I complete them (when I have the time) I wont know what Im left with sorry.
What'll be fukd is if you have the sizes I need and I have the sizes you need lol

you using new bearings, yea?
i thinking i better get quote for those shafts' bearings. cause thats a lot of wear that im trying to make up. some of the shims do fit from one bearing to another though eg the front diff ones fit the input shaft.

Yep, when required. Bearings Wholesalers in VIC is the cheapest Australian supplier of the bearings if you need new ones.
