Clear coat is a bit iffy in a few area's but not that bad. If i ever feel the need i'll get it painted but for now it's going to be fine. The high/low setting still works in the car, high is about 7psi, low is about 4ish or atleast that what is says on my "swoosh" gauge :D Once the manifold crack is fixed, or the manifold replaced which is probably easier i think she might have a little more poke.

Lol, Do you want me to give you a list of what will fail and at how many Km's? All of our work Commodores end up suffering the same failures.

Hahaha! Lol Rob. :p
Yeah, at least you didn't get an automatic falcon, where you might've found ATF in your coolant bottle!

Well like craig i too am in desperate need of a new car.
My daily driven magna has given up the will of foward motion. Picked it up from the automatic gearbox place this afternoon after the quoted 1650 inc fitting on some second hand box or 3000 to reco the one in it. Being the car is very high in millage and using oil its being wrecked.

I am in desperate need of a new car to the value of $5000.
Looking for something mid/family sized, preferably auto, late 90's and less then 150k kms. If any of you know of anything let me know

tim what breaks and at how many k's I have an extended 3 year warranty.

rob sorry if that offends but it my experiences it's the truth.

mohammed, a family freind had that issue with his BA XR6T ford wouldn't fix it because it was 2 weeks out of warranty, cost him $400 for a new radiator.

james i'm not going to disclose on a public forum how much i paid for it.

call it the darkside if you want i don't care, gets me out of an excel

I'll get the full list for you Craig. Here is some of the stuff.
Power steering pump, water pump, steering rack, diff, Clutch, Radiator. Make sure all of that stuff is covered in hyour warranty mate. How many km's are on it?

all covered under the warranty, i made sure i checked before i got it, 89000kms tim. will get some pics up soon

Yes, a moment of weakness only cause I couldn't afford to rally a VR4 and what better car than a gemini to throw at trees ;).

And for the record, I rallied an Isuzu Gemini thank you :D. It was a '76 TX model and had the original Isuzu badges.
