Xmas Cruise!

So a few of you keep saying whats happening for the xmas cruise but nothings being done so figured Id start a post and get some feedback.

Please answer the questions below!

1st ~ Day cruise or Night Cruise or late afternoon into night cruise
2nd ~ Preferred day?
3rd ~ What side of town? Southside, Northside or start at one side and end on the other ? or head out west and back in ?
4th ~ Do we want a feed either a bbq, BYO or find a nice little restaurant where we could maybe have a good steak
5th ~ Do we want a tame cruise like st8 up or a few windy bends etc (u get my drift )
6th~ Do we want to add something fun like paintball or go karts or bungy jumping open to ideas ?
7th~ Date ? But I think we need to get the above sorted before picking one, but I guess the more notice for some the better with work commitments?

maybe we could cruise to vannelis? would like too support fellow members as for the cruise anywhere is fine for me would rather the date be before school holidays though to avoid extra traffic etc

Having organised meets before for various forums and various places... the best thing to do is.

1 - Set the Date and stick with it
2 - Set the time and stick with it
3 - Set the meeting point and stick with it

Don't give people a choice, because reality is that people will always find a way to complain it doesn't work for them. If they want to come, they will make time.
Hell I organised a meet one day when I had booked a job 2 months in advance and forgot, couldn't even go to my own meet up. But I'm a believer in sticking to the rules I set, so no bending them for me!

I'm keen provided we can all stop somewhere to talk shit along the way or have a BBQ Or something. We're QLDers after all..


As for venues; Think of what has parking for cars which don't like speed-bumps... once you get that far, you're set

having been on the last 2 qld x-mas cruises, we wont have time to stop for a bbq as we will be fixing peoples cars bush mechanic style. last year we didn't get to the destination and the year before we only just made it.

As much as I like choice, it's true what MattL is saying. Gotta set dates etc. else the cruise will never eventuate.

And...hopefully Craig isn't right, but he most likely will be! Lol, we are driving mitsi's
