A new addition obtained in the meantime
These are CCFL Angel Eye projector headlights. The difference with these to my existing headlights are that these have a CCFL ring around the lamps and an LED parker light. They turn on when you switch your parkers on. Or if you're lucky to have an EVO III front foglight switch and wiring just sitting there doing nothing, its an easy hook up
At first I thought it was a ricey mod, but after seeing my brothers lights in my rearview mirror one late afternoon I must admit that they looked fkn unreal head on.
The #$&* even has HID's fitted!!! booyeah Example pic also of what they look like when turned on.
The new paintjob sort of has turned out into a few other new additions along the way

The brand of paint is BALLSACK.... nope sorry I got that wrong, its BASLAC Here's a nice colour code finder on the net of theirs: http://formula-finder.baslac.com.au/ . Type in a paint code in the top left corner and press START SEARCH button. Then choose which car it relates to on the manufacturer line. Then on the bottom section choose BASECOAT, then press the NEXT button on the bottom. Then go whoah!! Its great software

Yeah the bootlid was replaced with one I got from a mate as it didnt have any wing holes in it. In person it looked straight even when it was painted gloss black, but in the photos it looks like it needed more work than the rest of the car all put together lol . Not sure what happened there, but I tihnk it could have something to do with the reo underneath it. The rest of the car just had minor scratches and dents that were easy fixes. The sideskirts were 4 sideskirts all up, with the front half of one connected to the front half of another, to make 2 sideskirts. All the other skirts on the market had stupid designs in them and all I wanted was just a plain rounded skirt that suits the height and shape of the rest of the kit

UPDATE:
The car should be painted by the end of this week and left to cure over the weekend. PLUS, my new shoes arrived today!!!!
It was a mission trying to find a set of genuine 17x7 gunmetal grey Work Emotion CR Kai's in a 4x114.3 with 42 offset up for sale. I definitely wasnt keen to fork out around $2.5k to import a new set including tariffs/duties etc, so I was thrilled to find a set for sale from a Jap importers west of the border. The tyres on them are Bridgestone PZ1's, similar to the RE001's I believe. They have > 90% tread easy but I already have some near new Kumho Ecstas, therefore wont be using the Bridgestones and will put them up for sale soon (specs 215/45/17 87W). To top off the day, a set of D1 Drift spec alloy wheel nuts also arrived.... happy days, Xmas came early this year!!

Love the wheels mate - much better than the white set you had on it before (IMO). What colour did you end up choosing for it or is that hush-hush until the new reveal?

Thanks Shayne Id rather reveal it when its back together and looking schmick as a complete package for dramatic effect
I suppose its sort of like asking to be shown a set of titties at a car show and then end up taking the chick home later. You already know what her titties look like so the surprise isnt as sweet as it could of been than if it were revealed for the first time. You know what's that like dont you?

A big thanks go to my brother Mik-e who organised the replacement quarter glass windows and seals. The rubbers in mine were cut and damaged when they were removed at the paintshop, so Mik-e organised a replacement set for me.
No way I was going to pay $500+ a side from Mitsubishi new as the seals and glass come together as a 1-piece unit!!

Another early Xmas present arrived today .
Decided to buy a new S90 70mm billet throttle body as I have not been happy with the existing 70mm KU Engineering throttle body currently on the engine .
This baby will go on sometime in the near future after I make an ISC block-off plate (Running a Haltech idle control setup so can block off the factory ISC)
