Now that its making some good power, I got rid of the oem crank pulley and added one of these Fluidampr harmonic balancers to dampen torsional vibrations
Not sure of the exact numbers but the oem crank pulley weighs about 2kg and these weigh about 4kg!!

I got one of these on my 63t... did the swap and within 15mins I had some "knocking" issues.. I recently found out if could have been because it may have came loose, even thou it was torqued up to specs.. you might remember this from EC and may have posted on 4g too. you will need to "file" down the plastic cover abit aswell. mine sat on the cover and seated itself

It fits fine and clears the plastic timing cover. I've had the engine running in the meantime and it looks to be spinning true.
Maybe yours wasn't mounted flush on the crank sprocket properly? There's an extra hole in the crank pulley that has to line up with the pin sticking out of your sprocket when you position the pulley onto it. Perhaps your pin didn't seat properly through the pulley hole and was fitted on a slight angle causing it to wobble and rub the timing cover?

Update: Took the car out this afternoon to blow out the cobwebs with 2.03 bar boost (29psi) and just under 8K rpm.
The new headgasket and studs are doing their job
Cold start is still a bitch and runs rich at idle, so it needs to be tuned out as I'm getting low vac off throttle/idle.
Apart from that it was sounding sweet and I'm finally enjoying it with some decent power

This is with the Kelford TX-272 cams with both the inlet and exhaust cams at zero degrees = straight drop in fitment.
Still needs to go back for further tuning which I hope to get sorted soon.
