The Magnus intake manifold had the throttle body flange hole enlarged from 65mm to 70mm. Because they are meant for LHD cars we dont have much room to fit some throttle bodies (clearance to clutch master cylinder/reservoir and the brake lines) therefore a billet 70mm throttle body and custom elbow were made to get a good angle to the icoola piping.

Thanks guys.
Here's some other bits of plumbing done. Its got a 3" dump for the back of the Garret turbine with a 2" external wastegate pipe running seperate and plumbs back in just on the other side of the sump underneath. It has a flexpipe on it to absorb vibrations and heat expansion between the two pipes. The dump pipe is made from a thicker wall mild steel than normal. It was meant to get HPC coated as well but maybe some other time down the track
The rest of the zorst is a 3" stainless system, Catco 3" ceramic catalytic converter and an XForce Varex butterfly/noise control stainless cannon muffler. Just had a noise test done on it (test needed to get done for for engineering). At 4500rpm with the Varex butterfly closed it regustered only 88db! It's a pass . The Varex is a great muffler with the versatility to drive to the conditions. i.e quiet at home in mornings/nights and around the neighbours or whenever you want to sound like a normal everyday car cruising the streets... then open it up when you get on the open road or track

Just some other bits and pieces picked up over the years and added to the package. Its amazing how many parts you end up putting into your car when you go back and itemise each one.

Some interior shots.
EVO III dash, console, looms and electricals, GTi door trims and power windows, Cobra Sidewinder recliner seats (best seats I found suited for the coupes), and a retrimmed GSR rear seat. I wanted to keep it tasteful and definitely not lairy or insanely impractical. So black fabric retrim with dove grey suede inserts added a bit of class and practicality without going too overboard
The circuit breakers in the boot spin a few people out Powering it all is an Optima D34 yellow top battery in the boot now

Yep, its from Jaycar. It was fine until the tuner tried cranking it over with a battery pack and the glue on the switch cover gave way and popped the switch out on the 120A unit. The glue they use on it is shit / or they used very little of it that it comes unstuck from the load of the spring.your 120amp circut breaker is the first one i've seen where the on/off switch isnt buggered... did you get it from jaycar by any chance? i need to replace mine
If you bought one the first thing I'd do before using it is re-glue the black switch cover on properly with a strong clear araldite or something (not superglue as it will leave a white residue). Once the switch cover is glued on properly the spring load wont pop the black cover off. The construction of these things isnt the best quality out there but its been OK ever since.

looking good, what turbo are you using?
Its a GT3040R (GT3082R) with 0.82 turbine housing. They are the same .70 a/r compressor cover, comp wheel and centre cartridge as a GT35R, just that they use a size smaller turbine wheel out back than a GT35R does, but a size bigger turbine wheel than a GT3076R.

i havent opened mine yet,
but the switch feels like its caved in, had something dodgy happen where it tripped while jump starting, but it didnt cut power to the car. Every 5 or so minutes while it was tripped it would send positive to negative, almost like a cap discharging.
was freaky because all the gauges go straight to max and the windscreen whipers go!

Pics below show projector headlights, my wheels, a new imported front bar (wrapped up), chucking it on a car float to Sydney for tuning and emissions testing, and finally my new bonnet which is black now and has a hump in it to clear the timing belt cover
Well, these will be the last pics I will put up until you see the finished product . That's 100 pics+ of the build over the years. Hope other members follow suit and do the same.
cheers

Very impressive! I not long ago moved house and had to move all my parts and goodies into the new garage. It was kind of scary to see it all in a big pile!

Deano, I've driven the car a few times on the road unregistered to and from places to get some tests and work done. The RTA engineer has already conducted a hoist inspection and has received all the test results for things such as emissions, brakes, noise etc where the car has passed, plus he's got proof and plenty of info on ADR compliance of the seats, brake lines and other mods done in the process. The ball is back in his court now to let me know what else he needs (or what other hoops I have to jump through lol) before he certifies the car ready for registration.
Then I can get it rego'd, drive to Hitman/Race Solutions in Penrith so they can remove the 4000rpm rev limiter (now that the engine and clutch have worn in) and it'll be time to finally enjoy it.... before I rip off the front end and put my other front end on and get it re-painted then it still wont be finished and I'll be doing something else to it....
Last pic of the engine bay (at a distance )
