Wow, Shannons car insurance quoted me $72/month ($863/yr) for full comprehensive insurance at a $20,000 max value sight unseen. I have to send them pics if I want to raise the agreed value higher so if its pics they want its pics they're gonna fkn get!!! lol

Yeah, I gave them my website, and showed them pics of my build .. Got given 25k value, and $400 a year premium .. But this was while building .. I gotta call em back now that it is road worthy and see what it goes up too .. Also got a Green slip from them, for $380 when everyone else wanted to charge $600 + ...

Plus the Shannons guy on the phone lived in my area, and helped me out with the engineer ... + cheaper insurance for my motorbike... $70 a month when NRMA were charging $196 ...

Thanks Dre That there was mate, a long frikken time and now its nearly time to enjoy it. My brother Mik-e EVOCPE did the 4-piece mdf floor. You can remove the centre to access the spare without affecting the rest. The battery and circuit breakers I installed myself, and the Whiteline quick release rear strut brace was a must have. Theres no amps or sub boxes in this one and thats jut the way I like it

Yeah just rego now Dean to get it on the road and then put this damn front bar I bought from Malaysia on it with Proton front guards and custom sideskirts to suit. I have to talk to a painter because even though the paint job was done years ago and the car garaged, whilst it was in workshops and in my garage it got scratched up and damaged. A big lesson learnt there.

yep .... hence why i waited until last to get mine painted, but its back in the mechanics now anyway so hopefully everything is OK.

Which front bar have you got in store?

I know what you mean about the amps and subs too, I just CBF having all that stuff in there. It would have to be up too loud to hear it over the engine/exhaust anyway

I still have those black crystal lights and was thinking of swapping them over now and then for a change. Yeah the new bar is from Malaysia and bit more modern that I only know one other person to have the same. The E4 bar was originally bought in the year 2000!!!

Yep thats exactly what Im in the middle of doing now The double din is currently bare but I might get a mates Kenwood DDX5032 touch screen DVD player to put in it yet But out back on an MDF parcel shelf are some new Kenwood 6x9's ready to go and tonight my brother and I installed some silver Fusion RE-CM650 6.5" splits up front (http://www.fusionele...36-product.aspx) . We screwed the crossovers into the door and the big coupe door trims fitted over the top of them. The tweeters we put up high on the black triangle plastic parts of the power mirrors. That's it, no amps and no subs either

Fark I gotta clean up the glue and plastic from under the doors lol

Some better pics of the 215/40/17 wheels, 17x7" mags with 40 offset... a nice fit out back with rolled lips and the rear tab mod (heat gun to bend tab up). The tyres were just a few mm slightly out at the front (<5mm) but nothing -1' negative camber didnt fix to get them back under the guards Pics of the rear wheels below... these are set up at exactly the minimum height required as per the Dotars data sheet for engineering.
