how is the pedal feel luke?

Took 1.4 seconds off my PB. On the street I noticed that it was locking up but on the track with the semis warmed up it was perfect. The pedal was as good as when I was running my old EVO II calipers.
There is a couple of pics of your car in the cruise/pics thread, looks good on the track. appear to be a few EVO's out too.
There was 5 other evos with myself and a few others. It certainly makes for a positive and competitive environment.

In the last picture you can really see how low I sit in the car. I am 192 cm tall and you can barely see my shoulders.

They had some scales at the track and it is 1150 without driver which is not bad considering I have the origina passenger seat and a rollcage.

have you done much weight removal besides stripping the interior luke?
stripped the doors?,manual window regs?,strip ac and heater etc.... I would hope mine is
close to 1100kgs but I could be around the same weight as yours.
need to get it back together and chuck it on the corner weights at work

Yeah I would love some DMS items but the $$$ is the killer.
I have removed the sound deadening and the aircon from the engine bay.
I still need to take out the electric windows, matting behind the dash, replace the air con screen with manual box etc.
Do you know of anyone who makes a plug for the rear aerial?

deadener, ac,heater etc all add up, especially that matting on the firewall.
If you want to keep glass windowns you can remove the rear regs totall and secure the windows in the up poisition permently....lexan is nice though.
so many little things add up to a decent amount.

How much are you willing to spend on DMS? i know the owner. I also runs dms i have 50mm and a pair of 40mm fronts. Mine cost me 800
More than happy to take your second hand ones for $550 and you can get a new set for $800.
Alternatively it all comes down to cost and how serious I am. The faster my mates go the more serious I am getting. They are currently 2 seconds ahead of me on each circuit!

What suspension do you currently run Luke? Can it be revalved?
I am running Tein Super Street which was a good decision initially. I am removing it and taking it down to Ken at Accurate Suspension for him to check the spring rates and see what can be done. I am also going to be adding a new rear sway bar to create a little more oversteer to see if this assists my under steer issue.
I could also have a problem from when I ran off at Lakeside back in November so we will be checking all of that out as well.
On another exciting note on the way to the track on Tuesday my dry cell battery decided to overheat and start pumping out a white gas. I had to pull up on the side of the highway and dispose of it and drive to meet someone with the battery terminals taped up.

Sounds like the alternator overcharging???

Thats what I thought. Under non load at 5000 rpm the volts to the battery is not climbing above 14v.
I am going to remove it and run it up at a autoelec to check voltage under load.

Also running at the evo nats at Eastern Creek, is anyone else having a run?
