Brakes hold up fine.
I have the following modifications.
RDA Slotted Rotors
QFM A1-R Pads
Castrol Sin Brake Fluid.
Down the back straight you have to pull up from 180 to 80 km/h and they keep doing it fine.

So it looks like QFM are back to making decent pads again eh . Care to give us a review on them and how they are compared to what you had before?
Good work on the time too.

I can't really comment on their performance against other pads as I have never utilised anything else in a sprint/race environment.
Completing 9 laps at QR on the sprint circuit I am not having an issues with brakes fading etc. You need a fair bit of confidence in them coming into Turn 1 at 180kmh +

I wish they would fix those bumps at the braking spot at the end of the straight.

Hey Luke, hadn't realised this was your beast. I'll have to come round and check it out sometime. I might come watch on Sunday - if you need a pit hand let me know.

Had a good run on Sunday at Lakeside in QLD.
Managed a 1:04.9 on the full circuit which I was pretty happy with. The R35 GTR was running 1:01's

I pulled the lip off when I had it painted. I haven't refitted it or the side skirts and I don't think I will bother.
The holden at that exact point in time decided to throw a boulder at my windscreen Guess it was my own fault for traveling so close.

Nah man, look where his front tyre is...
tell him to learn how to drive
+1... You should have!!
As for the lip and sideskirts- chuck em back on! Makes it look like an EVO 2- not a GLXi conversion!!

Competed at the Gatton street sprints on the weekend. Managed to get a best time of 38.1
On the first run I had a spin. That is a snapshot from the incar mid spin.
Then managed to lower the times from there. My class was won by a WRX as it was on average. The best time she ran was a 37.7 Overall on the best time per driver I placed 23rd which wasn't to bad when you consider that there was GTRs Skeltas GT3s etc and some mean old escorts and datsun 1600's
The car is going well but I just need a little bit more power and probably lighten it a bit. The roll cage gets fitted in a few weeks so no more back seat etc. Will be getting a cheap GL dash so that I don't destroy the evo dash.

Farout! You've done more driving events in 2 months than I've done in the last 8months!!

This event cost me $180+ fuel for the Lancer and the parts car.
I am still on the 2nd hand semis which cost me $50 each but I will only get one more event from them.
The sprints at QR are $110 plus a tank of fuel.
If I budget $350 per event including entry that is about right I think. That includes wear on tyres, brakes and having to replace the fluids at certain intervals normally 3 track events for engine oil and every 6 months for other fluids.
I am about to buy tyres and they will be around $1200 and a rollcage for $1750 but that is hopefully absorb into the budget and I miss out on some other things. After doing a few events I thing a rollcage is a necessity for the speeds which you achieve on the track for a prolonged period of time.
I have cut back other luxuries outside of motorsport like lunches and big nights on the booze and put the money to this instead.
