Yokohama A048R's in medium compound 195/55/15
I can't fit a 205/50/15 with the rims which I bought as track rims which is a bit disappointing.

This is my 2nd set.
They are more durable then the R888 which was the other option. The R888 will give you better initial grip but will fade towards the end of the sessions where as the A048R will be a little slower to come up to temp but will last longer.
They were all the same price.

Hey mate, those rotors - are you sure they're fucked? I had a set of rotors that looked exactly the same as yours after a brake pad failure (very similar scenario to what you posted on PF - the pads basically melted) at Wakefield. It's hard to tell form the pics, but are you sure it's not just pad material lodged in the slots rather than them being worn down that far? I scraped the shit out of the slots and the same rotors are going strong 2 years down the track.

It is actually scooped out. So if you run you finger across it is dips down and then back up on the other side.
If I put the new pads on those rotors I would end up with uneven pad wear.

RDA's???
Yeah but my pads were short lived as well. I have removed the brake dust shields to encourage more cooling. Will see what happens with this set.

Notice any change in the front brakes? Are your rotors blue or a mid grey this time?

They should be a dull mid grey colour if the pads are doing their job and the brakes aren't overheating. Blue spots are bad.

Small update
Picture from my last even where the dipstick blew out and the oil came with it. Was concerned it was major but cleaned it up and drove home. Comment from the guys was that it made the Exxon Valdez look like a milk spill.
I am booked in next week to have the LSD clutch packs in the rear redone as they have worn out and I no longer have LSD goodness.
Also getting the bushes in the rear replaced (Thanks SIVART) and looking at getting the upper arms on the rear done at the same time.
Will then look at getting a nice catch can, moving the battery to the boot and customising the intake.
All this work and I am still on stock boost.

anytime hypo, the car is looking sweet
dip stick poping is common on this model, make it breath with a catch can and put some o'rings on the dipstick

Small update.
Decided it is time for a rebuild.
Engine is out and is going to Neil Lowe for the rebuild.
Will be looking for a turbo and manifold for the car and a ecu.
Still had the original exhaust on the car so that will be upgraded as well.
