Just 2L, trying to keep the build costs reasonable and with items I can maybe move to the next car like the ECU.

Bit of an update.

Engine is coming along nicely.

Just bought some EVO IX injectors and also decided on cams as well.

Hopefully should get me a reliable 230is Kw at the wheels.

Removed all the sound deadening on the weekend which was 11kg.

Have also picked up a Greddy FMIC kit and chasing a new radiator and a larger oil cooler with -10 fittings.

Have to get on to maperformance in the morning and finalise my order as well.

Was that the Greddy kit that Todd (runuts) had for sale? What sort of oil cooler did you go for? My Serc has -10 fittings and fits in nicely behind the E2 front bar.

Yeah that was his kit.

Do you have a link for the oil cooler? I haven't picked one up yet.

Yeah I saw that. I have been offered a standard EVO VIII oil cooler for $100. I thought $450 was a bit much or is the MR larger then the standard EVO VIII?

I got my Serc through Revolution Racegear. Cost about $300 from memory but it's a damn good unit.

Well a small update.

Engine is all done apart from the cams being fitted.

The 68HTA and other FP Parts have arrived. Purchased a EVO VIII oil cooler and some EVO IX injectors also bought a Autronic computer. Engine will be run in and tuned on a engine dyno so I will be able to work out the % of drivetrain loss once the car is back up and running.

Hoping to have it all back in the car by the 23rd of May.

Great stuff mate. *sigh* I miss "money pit" cars lol

Are you able to disclose cam specs? And how big are evo IX injectors? 560cc?

Should be able to take down the R35 GTR with new setup! :)

Goodluck with it all.

Which engine dyno are you going to be using Hypo? I may need the services of one in the not too distant future.

I honestly do not know the specs of the CAMS. I asked for CAMS and he suggested these as they used to run them in the early EVO rally cars. The price was the same as buying Kelfords etc off the shelf.

Yup 560cc's. Possibly I will run out of fuel but will see what happens.

No interest in blowing away a R35GTR just my mates out there in later model EVOs whilst keeping it on the black stuff the right way up. I have a feeling my brakes may be the next issue.

@Rob323. It is being done at NA Autosport or Neil Lowes. It is a Cosworth engine programme which was used when he used to build the engines for DJR back when they were running Sierras.

It concerns me that you had to post a picture of what these cars looked like. I used to go to Lakeside and watch them race. This was when Glenn Seton worked on his own car and was sponsored by Peter Jackson Racing. I guess I am older than I like to believe.
