Nice work, youre spot on.. These turbos just keep hauling all through the top end.

Using specific gravity of pump fuel mine is flowing 39lb/min of air at 20psi based on my 950cc FICs running at 55% duty in the top end.

Also mine hits 20psi at 3550rpm in a 4th gear pull.. How is your boost control? Does it hold all the way to redline?

What compression ratio are you running?

Glad you're happy, people don't give this turbo enough credit....

My boost is controlled by the factory solenoid. It comes on strong and just holds it to redline. I will scan a dyno sheet.

What power are you making in 4th on normal pump fuel?

I have no idea about the compression of the engine.

I haven't had the car on the dyno to know what the power figure is running 20psi with this tune.

From the logs I do know I'm flowing enough fuel to support 40.69 lb/min of air at 19.97psi with an AFR of 11.2955 (all at 6883rpm)

Perfectly tuned that's 406.9hp @ 6881rpm (@ 19.97psi) assuming my flow rates for the FIC 950's are linear. ( I do not know if they are but what I can find on the net suggest they do..)

Now my car isn't perfectly tuned, it's been road tuned to that figure (well, flow rate)

Assume some inefficiencies and it's anywhere between 370-400hp or thereabouts ( @ the engine)

Which - when I look at your engine dyno figures of 380hp maxing out the 560cc injectors at 7k rpm, is all roughly kosher!
My injector flow rates say I'm actually using 540cc of fuel @ my AFR.

If you can log your injector duty we could see how efficiently your engine is burning fuel..

dude is your car still street driven? (hypo)

I would love to have a look as I'm in the middle of setting mine up to do exactally what you are doing!

I do have the brakes! I figured making decent power does require you to stop eventually!

Just order a clutch from the states and about to do a freshen up of the motor! and drop in a preped G box.

I'm logan area Pm me if you would be happy to meet up and chat!
keen to find a play friend to go to some of these events with was told QR is the better starting point.

My car is still street driven but more so to get the race track and back as I don't have room for a trailer at the moment. Happy to meet you somewhere to give you a look. What exactly are you changing?

Either QR or Lakeside is fine to start at as long as your drive within your limits. I haven't been to Lakeside yet with the new power but QR was certainly different.

Who did you brake upgrade and what did you fit?

Mine is an aussie GSR cc AWD now with 2.4 have ohlins suspension, nitto NT01 semis 17" on account of the brakes.
AP 4 spot calipers with 330mm slotted AP rotors, Ap's version of the DB2500 pads basically the kit from the UK. which cost me 4k neat! Your picture of your RDA rotors mine where better, there was only a photocopy of the slot and that was after 7000 ks - hence the brake upgrade. The car handles pretty good for a street hack, still in full street trim, stereo door cards etc etc, Cage has gone on hold as I have just bought a twin plate clutch from the US. I do have a cage in my shed but it eliminates the back seat (which I want to keep) so in need of some mods there!

Would love to have a chat and check out your car! very keen to have a strap at QR

pretty much was told if I can't do under 1min at QR I should go home!
I think the car will do it fine, I just need to grow some balls and get to the track!

not knowing anything about what licences I need and best places to go is my problem, that where a play friend would be nice ... to hold my hand so to speek!

I sound like a girl, dont I?

I own a restaurant and it's hard to get free time, staff seem to always screw things up!

Troy - you would smash the minute mark at QR, I have no doubt! You will need a CAMS L2S licence to do most motorsport events or sometimes you can arrange a one-day licence at track days if you pay the fee. A L2S is easy to get and fairly cheap if you will do more than one or two events a year. You can jump on the CAMS website or visit them in person at Sporting House next to Lang Park.

Or you can get Luke to hold your hand - he's good at that:P

QR and Lakeside are AASA not CAMS.

Just apply on the day for a yearly license.

CAMS LS2 will be required for Mt Cotton Noosa Hillclimb as well as all the street sprints which are on each year.

I wouldn't be concerned about times on your first outing. I would be concerned about having fun, not breaking the car and getting home safely. Do that and the times will follow.

The best thing I think you can do at QR is start slow (shouldn't be too hard to even beat my best time of 1:06) and work out braking markers etc, then slowly wind the speed up. There are only a couple of corners which require some skill to be able to nail them.

The best thing you can do at Lakeside is to go for a drive with someone that knows the track well so they can show you the lines. Get a corner (or the kink) even slightly wrong and Lakeside lets you know about it. It's a lot friendlier than it used to be but the bitch can still bite hard.

I'm flat out rallying for the rest of the year. I'm entering Rally Q which is in 3 weeks time. Then it's pretty much one rally per month after that til Xmas.

Dropped the car off today for the EVO VI Brembo conversion and 5 stud swap.

They have already swapped the rear hubs and redrilled the rear discs. Had them check the car prior to starting and it appears the proportioning valve was faulty which has probably lead to all my problems. The car will be back to me Wednesday with the brakes fitted Ferodo DS3000 Pads and new rotors and braided lines.

I have converted to 5 stud which means I can just run EVO V or EVO VI rims. They bolt right on and clear the brakes easily. Also meant that I could buy off the shelf EVO VI rotors and pads.

I bought the hubs off Dougmo here but they are Magna fronts and EVO IV rear hubs. They pressed straight into my current configuration and matched with the driveshafts.

I was having difficulty finding a 17x7.5 inch rim in 4x114.3 that would provide the offset required to clear the brakes.
