By removing the headlight you're actually causing more drag on your car. Auto makers spend millions upon millions of $$$ ensuring the aerodynamics of their cars are as good as they can be and if you go putting a huge hole in the front of your car by ripping out a headlight you're going to stuff all that up.

Even doing a vented headlight air intake is going to disrupt the airflow, cause more air turbulence at the front of the car and in effect increase the drag coefficient of your car (ie SLOW you down). For a road car that sees track time it's a pretty useless mod IMO.

I reckon a 4"-5" air duct from one of the existing vents in the front bumper up under the guard and into a ducted airbox would do just the same thing. This is the setup I'm running and I'm maxing out my airflow meter.
