g/Day all I have owned a JB Starion for app 16 years and it is driven to events eg- autocross , track days & 2 day street sprints (on closed public roads ) and it has been improved as $$$ became available .
My new workshop sponsor wants me to TC it as I already have a 4g63 na GSR motor & I thought that you guys would be able to advise on turbo , cams etc to get the best result out of my race prepped 2322cc stroker all forged no balance shafts haltec etc
Cheers
Rad

The JB is getting a freshen up and a dohc conversion atm & am looking forward to driving it soon .It still has to have a custom split entry steampipe manifold & the tb reversed Am looking for 350hp atw on BP Ultimate and app 17psi so with a GT3076 and KELFORD 264/270 cams sitting in a ported gen 1 head so it shouldn't have any probs making that sort of power
What do you all think???????

That looks like a dream package that will definitely have a lot of people drooling on this forum. I have never seen that exact combo so I am very interested to see how she goes. Please post results when you decide what to strap onto the beast. I bet tuning is going to be a lengthy process to get right, especially chasing those figures...

MY SOHC with the 3076 made 328 hp atw on 18 psi so I don't think that I will get less with the DOHCThat looks like a dream package that will definitely have a lot of people drooling on this forum. Have been bedding in the motor and am amazed how well it drives off boost and how it makes 3psi at 1800 revs considering the split entry ar 84 turbine housing and the 76 comp wheel
It is on 9psi ATM untill the hi/lo switch is done then it will be dynoed at 18 psi
BTW the suspension ,tyres ,brake lines, fluid ,calipers & rotors have all been upgraded to cope with the increased performance on the track ( the only place to explore the limits )
The faster I drive on the track the slower I drive on public roads

Welcome Rad being your a staza head you may know Mark Boxel from www.GTPumps.com.au as he has a wide body and has raced staza's many moons ago, if you dont would be worth giving him a bell see his web addy for contact number.
I'm sure he will shed a load of knowledge on the Starion's and turbo set ups. I'd be surprised if you don't know of him as you would be both around the same age, Mark is also the "M" in M&W Ignition systems and just loves to talk tech, old school as well as new school Mitsu's
Welcome again and cant wait to see some pics of the beast.
