Hey guys,
Well i finally got it! just got home from picking here up. Got it off G5R5OL, he is a great guy, when i went up to look at it the first time he pointed out every little thing that was wrong with it that i didn't notice. he even showed me that underneath the side skirt there was a bit of surface rust where it had been rubbing against the body!!. i highly recommend dealing with him.
Anyhow, its a white 3 door cb gsr (c53a), it has RALLIART coilovers , Ralliart gear knob, cc gsr wheels, heavy duty cluch, cc gear shifter ( shorter throw between gears= fun), and ive probably missed a few things. Many plans for the future, in the near future tho ill be swapping all the goodies from my old car into this one. God them Ralliart coilovers are sweet it handles waaaaaaay better than my old gsr ever did it is full on like a little go cart!
I'll get pictures up on sat when i go up to my parents house cause my camera is up there.

dougmo- fun is an understatement, i was driving my sisters 323 astina and it was auto! 0-100 in 3 hours
clutz- seriously recommend it, big difference, it feels so solid and is a much shorter throw between gears im lovin it! combined with the heavy duty cluch it is waaaay better than my old gsr. kudos to G5R5OL for doing it id never even hear of that swap.
g5r5ol- yeah thanks heaps man i cant stop looking at it! you should so import a 3 door 4wd from new zealand and go nuts on it. Damn true about the coilovers, there is this twisty road that goes up a hill just out of geelong in a place called Fyansford, i swear after that section of road i had a smile from ear to ear the rest of the way home!!! Dont worry i'll take exta good care of her, she my new baby.

True that. just as your starting to enjoy yourself, you have to slow back down to 60. Not that i was doing over 60 up the hill...cough cough.

you didnt take the calipers off to paint them? they didnt come up too bad if thats the case... Those wheels suit it perfectly - give the inside of the wheel wells a coat of black paint too while your down there

Nah.. i was only up at my parents house for a few hours. had a lot to get done and had to go water at work half way through . so i only had time to give them a quick spray, they turned out better than i was expecting tho, i was gonna go with red... but i didn't want to look like a brembro wannabe . yeah i noticed the wheel wells, didn't have enough paint definitely on the cards tho. I'm going back up to parents today so get some more pics up. i got my old boss kit and steering wheel on, metal pedals, k&n filter.

Hey fellas,
just thought id do a little update. Yesterday got suck into the car, pulled out the dash (had a massive crack in it) and put my old one back in. While i was at it i mixed and matched the AC vents so now there is only one with broken slats, also changed the gauge cluster cause my old one is closer to the kays the engine has done. but then i started thinking the old carpet would look better in it as the stuff in it wasn't moulded to suit the car, so out came the seats! oh yeah.. i chucked my pioneer cd player, amp and sub in there as well. here are a few pics of the gutted car (at this stage i already had changed the dash)...
The new crack free dash!!yay.
stripped out interior.
You may have noticed that one of the door trims is missing, im in the process of re-trimming it and trying to find a nice speaker pod for it. im using the same red material as i had in my old gsr. Hopefully will have the racing seats in soon!!!

Stuffed my foot playing indoor soccer last night, maybe broken. back to driving my sisters automatic. NICE ONE DAN YOU HAD TO GO AND PUT A HEAVY DUTY CLUTCH IN IT... DIDNT YOU!!!
just kidding the heavy duty clutch is my friend.
Hey Dan my wife said the funniest thing to me the other day, it was her first time in the car going 100km/h on a rough road..with the coilovers. She commented that she will have to by a sports bra before she does that again.
Sorry if this post is a bit crazy, beer and pain killers do funny things .
