Hi guys some of you might know me from gsrcyborg club
if not I have a 91 gsr awd with a evo 0 j speck 4g63t
just trying to sort out a few thing that i never did when i was installing the engine
I have put together vacume lines actuator solenoid and canistor for the manifold runners
problem is that i dont know what is the neg or pos terminal on the solenoid. I know i need to run a wire from the neg side of the solenoid to pin 53 on the ecu
then i need to run a wire from the pos side of the solenoid to the mpi relay i dont know what pin to splice into on the relay
can any one help please

im fairly sure it doesnt matter which way its wired.
test it out with a battery, the line from the vac canister should be closed when powers applied.

I was thinking about it my self and I think I might have worked it out..
The top "T" terminal from the solenoid goes to pin #53 from the ECU.
The other terminal from the solenoid goes to a power pick up from the MPI relay.
The ECU terminal #53 will ground after 4500 rpm.
So basicaly I can put that other terminal to any power supply beause the ECU give the ground.. Does this sound OK, or do have have to have the correct power out put.

think i mentioned in the other thread about using the FPR power, or resisitor pack 12v, they all come from the MPI
