Hi Guys this car is for sale again and its popped up in NSW. Its on car sales for $19,500. I just spoke to the owner and he tells me its not the same car. All i can say is judge for yourself.

Note the identical front strut brace, HKS filter (yes they are semi-common), Use of Red Silicone joints in IC plumbing, lack of front bar tabs next to lights, identical battery,

Add in the lack of wind deflectors, same wheels, no stickers on wheels, HKS exhaust, the way in which the plug leads are run (cyl. #1), no spark plug cover, no upper timing belt cover and the fact that it still looks as though it has the same rego sticker on it the evidence is damning...

No I'm not the owner. Just on the look out for an Evo 3 in NSW and then seen this on car sales. Just curios why its up for sale so soon again. Maybe couldn't get rego in NSW??

thats what i'm guessing- its common knowledge that you can't register loophole cars from VIC in NSW. But up the price? Pffft!

Whats going on here?
One minute its 15k on my105.com..in Victoria
The next its on carsales registered in a different state, with a different price....4.5K dearer.

Can anyone clarify whats going on.
Havent seen a Vin listed anywhewre, we all know theyre rare...if i see an add for one of these that doesnt list it as personal Import with info about it I assume its not a road going genuine car, thats because if the owner knew that his car was one of 18 in australia, hed want to prove it...:unsure:

I think i know whats going on here...someone pounced on it at 15K, bought it form VIC....got a dodge roadworthy in NSW (cos its not allowed in), and is now selling it because they realise theyve fuked up...
Thoughts...?

Dont for a minute think that they are not the same car in the two ads, its the same bloody car..c'mon, theres none of these around as it is, let alone two in diff states the same colour with all the same and identical mods etc....If anyone wants to prove otherwise, ask the owner for the VIN and Import papers...isnt it funny how the vic add goes away, then a few weeks later the NSW add pops up, poor bloke, this car should be reported...:fuuuuu:

Pity it is.., but he's probably a victim of the whole problem of rego of these cars, and its probably the real thing too....but watch the price come downnnnnnnnnnnn..:thumbsdown: hes stuck with it now.

Good point, its probably a Griggs car, like you said earlier.

He could of also bumped the price up to make it seem like its not dodgy, for 14.5K you'd think to youself is it dodgy strait away and whys he so keen to sell.
