very nice piece of work.
the only thing that lets the other CE9A ones down is the angle of the BOV outlet.
that one looks to be a nice useable angle.
good find.
is that a stock replacement one, or a battery relocation one?

By the looks of it, it would be a battery relocation job, look at the twisty path the stock one takes.

On that know how many people still run the stock one? Is it that restrictive?

They(the FP ones) look like they would hit the meek piping kit.

My mate made me an air-inlet which looks like that FP one, out of 3" aluminium tubing, it even has the BOV inlet in pretty much the same spot. Very schmick .

Is this the same mate who made the turbo outlet? :)

I am liking the FP ones as I want to finish all my mods and get it tuned finally. But at around 150US + 100US shipping its a little rude, I think I could teach myself to weld and make one myself for that price :D

getting that angle of bend is your biggest issue I can only see such an aggressive bend coming from donuts not mandrel bent pipe hence why this is a cast pipe

Nah, different mate.

How's all that outlet and piping stuff worked out on the E3 anyway?

$150US?

$79US + $25 for the BOV return last time I looked at their site. I struggle to believe its $100US for shipping something 4lbs (1.8kg) in weight

Thats what I got quoted by them, 79 + 25 + 45(silcone) = $149 + 100 USD shipping(what I was quoted).

CT9A one? Like the one from Meek?
http://www.meek.com....od&productId=71

Any issues with clearance on it?

ENGINR - Its all on there running fine at the moment, I had it pop off when I first fitted it but undid all the clamps and shifted the pipes around till they all stayed together without the assistance of clamps then tightened up the clamps and she is all good.

firstly, yeh i believe that FP shipping price too, clearly they try and make money off shipping as histroy has shown..

well theres the CT9A silicone one as above, but theres quite a few brands who make them, i've got the AVO one.

No real clearance issues, only thing is that the BOV return is in a bit of an akward position if you have things in the way in you engine bay, for me i dont have this problem so all good.

your one is a hard-pipe with silicone attachment isn't it dean? it'll have a bit more give in the attachment.
the e7-9 silicone ones are made to fit a 3.25" afm. i'd be worried about tearing the silicone trying to stretch it an extra inch.

sure thing, dont pick on my black K&N filter tho!
has now been somewhat cleaned :)

here you go, and thats a 055 evo afm. May have used a silicone reducer to connect to it.
