Hey guys,

Anyone got a picture of the front LSD for a CD9a/CE9a ?
Just want to see if there is roller bearing on both sides of it.

cheers
alex

hope this helps, yes they have roller bearings each side. these need to have there preloads set when rebuilding box or changing bearings. the left is the front diff right is the rear.

yeh that helps heaps mr borg :) 99% of what im after!

do you know if there is a shaft that goes into the 'flange-side' of the front LSD? or is the assembly all '1 piece' ?

cheers
alex

not quiet sure i get you. not talking about drive shalfts. you talking diff internals? and what type of lsd?

your not talking about the center diff are you? that has a shaft that comes out of the top hat for the inner spline viscous coupling to attach to?

ok Mr borg, here are the pics of the LSD in question:

passanger's side shaft insert. nothing interesting:

Any ideas? I think there is another insert that goes into the shaft hole (seems like there are different/bigger diameter splines) where the bearing sits on.

If you don't already have them you need 8 new pinion gear bolts aswell. Non lsd pinion bolts cannot be used. They were about $120 last time i checked.
