not really an update, but looking to get some cheap tint and get my a/c up and running asap...

This heat is pretty crap and its not even summer yet. lol

Seeing as I'm on a tight budget at the moment due to our fkn wedding, I've thrown around the idea of trying to tint the windows myself.

I know that is fkn dodgy as buggery, but has anyone had a crack at it before?

I wouldnt assume it would be all that difficult if i am able to drop the windows out from the doors, and then perhaps get someone to just do the rear windscreen for me...

Anyone got a better idea?

The lack of a/c is a major reason i've considered selling the car, even though it only needs the compressor. Lazy much? lol

Also, on the lookout for some 19s at the moment, cheap 2nd hand ones are the go... proving to be rather difficult.

go see nick at master tint in southport ...tell him Dan sent you should only be $200

dodgy tint will just peel or look yuck.
for the $35 a roll you pay at supercheap etc that will do your car. but you will need a shop to do the rear window as its tall otherwise you need to join 2 rolls together = dodgy
least at a shop for $200 you get a warranty of some sort AND they have a cutter with templates so it fits PERFECT

Big thanks to ONP51 for dropping over to my place last night and tinting the windows on the GSR.

Looks a million times cleaner now.

Will give the car a clean and get some pics on the weekend...

In other news..... not much else has changed... yet.

I've been keeping an eye on the roof, but nothing has come back at all yet, so thats good.

Can't wait to paint it if it doesn't sell...

Ok so gave the car a wash and went and got some pics with Dion this arvo...

I found this cool looking wall on the side of an industrial building, so thought it would be a good background for some pics..

Here is my attempt at being a photographer...

I'm not keen on the ones with the grass in them - but otherwise great shots and the car looks really good

Silly question, what brand spray paint did you use for your calipers to paint them red? They look way brighter than the caliper paint i used (will check the brand later on).

cheers guys, yeh i was trying my photography skillz with those grass ones lol

gsr-mat mate i just used some red paint in a can from SuperCheap.... nothing special.

getting closer to being able to paint the car now, after my wedding next month. So have been playing around with different colours etc.

Will be looking for a replacement roof skin too, but thinking of keeping it black, with the black front lip and maybe doing the rear wing blade in black too... ? ideas?

Anyway here are some chops I"Ve done on photoshop... (im not real good at it as you can tell... lol)

I am leaning towards the yellow at the moment, though orange like my old Mirage would be good too...

Thoughts? cheers.
