Tint strip looks good. I used black vinyl for mine, looks pretty sweet.
Car looks awesome, hows it feel to be back in a fast Mitsu?

A) It only Runs 7psi.

B) I havent given it any shit- water pump is leaking BADLY

C) I've only driven it 4 times, 5km max each time!

As soon as its all sorted, i'm going to give her a tune up and some more boost :)

OK spent another couple of hours sussing out this car today.....

Thanks to G$R$OL I scored a lower half EVO 2 rear wing, to match the EVO 2 front. Will have to get it painted sometime soon- was thinking about doing it myself perhaps.

Also scored some cheap 6.5" speakers for the front doors, and a 4-channel JL audio amp. Going to grab a cheap pair of Pioneer 6x9's and possibly a new head unit and will have some pumping sounds for less than $500!

Window regulator is in with a new motor- while I have the glass out I got the urge to tint it. What do you guys reckon??? Yea or neigh?

Because the window was stuck up, I had to remove the 3 screws and separate the motor from the regulator in order for the window to come down to un-do it off the reg. That was the hardest part- the 3 screws were on the other side so it took a bit of mucking around to get the best angle and get the screwie in there. The rest was easy! Havent sussed out whats what yet- battery was flat.

I'm actually thinking about keeping that exhaust. NOT. I have a 2.5" dump back system here with a nice 2.5" straight through JASMA muffler which will sound nice. I also have a j-pipe, chip, exhaust, filter, water pump, head gasket, rocker cover, heat shield, SSQV, t-piece to fit. Just need a clutch, cat converter, middle timing cover, time, money and a hoist!

I still can't believe you grabbed that car for only $6K, you lucky bastard... :fuuuuu:

I'd give up the lease scheme I'm on through work if I had that as a daily.

It was a good buy, but don't get me wrong, there's plenty wrong with it- and it needs a ton or time, cash and work spent on it to get it to the quality i'm used to :)

Definately a good buy, getting an evo 1-3 for less then 12k is! The evo from me looking at it, needs a good 2k spent on it.. (head done first and the rest in time)

But its definately getting a move on.

good work dre

You're definitely right about 'getting what you pay for' but if you put in the time youll have a sweet evo that didnt cost you that much!
