Haha it wasn't the fact you're not putting any love (or cash) into your cars! (cos I know you do)

Its the fact that you'll probably keep it forever and ever! :w00t:

Filling in plastic isn't as easy! Less fucking around = sweet.

The roof will have to get done one day, along with the scrape on the rear 1/4 panel, so it can always get re-done then

Okay well after ALOT of swearing and head fucks, CREATD have got the motor back together with HKS 264 cams, new head gasket, Hastings rings, new rod bearings, ground crank, water pump and timing belt. Turns out the head has been o-ringed so they couldn't put it together with the cometic head gasket I got for it. I'm picking up the timing belt covers and fluids in the morning, so the engine should be in the car with a fresh Exedy organic clutch (thanks George) tomorrow.

Had a little good news this week when I pulled the ECU out to get it socketed. Turns out the board has already had some repairs done to it, and is already socketed. Plugged the Meek chip straight in. No dramas.

Will keep you guys updated with some pics etc when I go see her in the morning.

Well it's beyond words right now as to how mad I am. I'm having issues with UPS delivering my timing belt covers. I requested to pick the items up from their depot this morning, and when I got there they said the package is with a driver on the road. That was bad enough, but they said the driver will be at my house in 20 mins so I bust my ass to get home and have been waiting for an hour and a half and the useless fucken can't is STILL not here. Wasted half a day already waiting for these useless pricks!!

Here's another gripe- thought i'd be pro-active and go buy some fluids from Mitsubishi Essondon. I checked out their website and went to the address listed only to find it has closed. FAIL at its finest.

Dre... shit like this is bound to happen to all of us during our car builds at some stage and god knows its frustrating as fuk. But take a few deep breaths and know that tomorrow will be another day. Let's hope the run of bad luck ends real soon and the run of good luck starts. Get all the bad shit out of the way first, then happy times :) Im sure the guys at the shop are sympathetic as well. Its such a bad run that all you can do is shake your head and laugh it off mate, these things are meant to try us :) Be strong and think positively buddy, its maybe happening for some reason. :)

Thanks for the kind words Rob- i'm self employed and should have been out working, instead of wasting 3/4 of a day waiting for a bunch of monkeys to get their shit together. ^_^

Anyways, eventually got the brand new timing belt covers covers up to CREATD- the whole rush was that I needed the car back together in time for the cruise on Sunday. the guys at CREATD have busted their balls all week trying to get this car on the road- one problem after another! Whoever worked on this car previously needs a good slap in the face! :w00t:

We were scratching our heads for 4 hours trying to figure out why the car wasn't starting. We replaced the C.A.S, ECU, FPR, 5 times, checked the timing against 3 other motors twice, and went over the car for hours trying to figure out what was wrong and it turns out that someone had swapped the coil packs around? :fuuuuu::fuuuuu: Also, the clutch fork was bent, and to combat that someone made a custom slave cylinder rod which was over extending the fork. Thanks to Meek for the replacement. Missing clips on the ball joints? Only one balance shaft? Not using coolant? The list goes on and on and on!

The engine has good oil pressure and finally runs! Got to go back in the morning to bleed the clutch, replace the fluids- Rob is going to weld the exhaust on- tidy up some wiring and it should be ready to hit the road.

I must say a HUGE thanks to Rob, Rob, and Dan at CREATD for all their help over this week.:thumbsup:

4 hours sleep last night and i'm almost ready to go to bed.
