no mate is manual always has been, even if it was one auto and he done a manual conversion he still would of had to change the rear diff to match the front diff ratio wouldnt he ????

YES. First and foremost, what is your GEARBOX code? :)
Just need the first line, stamped in the flat square section on top of the bellousing like this attached pic of my GSR gearbox.

ZIf your top numbers dont match up, then check against the EVO codes on page 1 in this thread.

hey all, looking to upgrade my EVO 1 GSR (center viscous coupling) and want to put in a EVO 3 rear mechanical differential...what parts do I require?

you will need the rear diff complete and both cv s that go into the diff.......or better still the complete drive shafts.

I have heaps of parts...but never the one I need.

I have a source for a E3 diff with the green cups(ends of the drive shafts not the entire driveshafts) that insert in the diff will that be sufficient?

yes that should do it....just get a cv place to swap the cups or get some of the clamps and grease. then have a go your self that isnt a hard one

sorry to bring up a old thread but i can not find what gearbox my car is w5m33 2 NRBE
its not in the listings above or to what i can read, its of a 1.8ltr 4g93t??

any help would be great

As I have the evo3 gsr gearbox so that I will have a complete set
