U can run a bigger turbo, but u have to adjust the auto system to suit.

What turbo are you planning to run?

Maybe an 18g or 20g shes only a little 1.8 lol

Your box is in the Ford wagon Jesse. A large 16G or 16G/20G (my old fav) can push you to 7.5-8k for your manual gear changes.
A spagetti exh mani or one like Brisvr4 (Tim) has on his vr4, is a good mod for you to get the spooling & convertor working earlier.
I've used an Evo 3 cast mani, a larger runner Evo 3 cast mani & my spagetti exh mani I made, & the spagetti one worked the best.
Bob (gooch) is over the moon with his auto VR4 & I'm sure you will be happy with your lsd fwd auto drag box B)
Churpin' 2nd is very hard to avoid & I hope your boys in blue down there don't hassel you. Enjoy !
Cheers !

Hahaha Thanks Aldo the fellas that picked it up are characters!!! haha and the purple wagon is abit rough!! hahaha Yeah thats the plan Aldo i believe a 20G will be the go but i may do abit of trialing with the current turbo first. As far as a manifold goes i will go something like a 6boost manifold when i upgrade. Hahaha as for churpin 2nd i was fuckwit of the month for 12 months straight when i was on my p's with this car but it has been off the road for 3 years and i handed in the rego so hopefully the boys in blue have forgotten who i am!! haha

If you wanna set it up for the drags to get your best times & then detune it for the street as a daily, I can lend you my 16g/20g for the drags (boomerang)
The small 16g I put on my Monte hits boost nearly as early as an RVR auto baby turbo, but a small 16g pushed is hotter than an Evo 3 turbo a/f temp.
Yeah Kylle makes a good exh mani out of steam pipe. Industrial bead blast it (rough as) before getting it coated. Sticks like shit to a blanket then ;)
Cheers !

Be better when its finished!!! hahahaha

Good one Ted. That 3mm plate will at least keep that little purple convertor spinning inline while the G forces
on the fluid inside is spinning around & forward & backwards. It still has a slight flex left in it if you don't
tack weld it. Write 1 & 1 on one corner & then mark 4 drilling points on the flex plate 10mm in from the plate.
Drill 4 8mm holes through the flex plate (not the 3mm plate) If it "does vibrate" you'll be able to plug weld
those 4 holes from under the car. But i'm guessing it won't need the welding & the 4 holes won't hurt it.
I doubt if there is another 7 bolt awd auto running locked as lsd fwd in Aus. My 1st awd auto was lsd fwd in my
Galant GSR hatch, but that was a 6 bolt. Back then I said nothing while breaking many boxes. Each build found
the next weak link. Nothing breaks or colapses anymore. Now hurry up & bolt your motor on it ;-)
Cheers !
