Doesn't that turbo come in a T2 flange variant? Would have saved chopping the manifold and welding on a Mitsu flange...?

Turbo looks mean, I say run it without an intake pipe or filter ...that comp cover looks sexy!

It certainly does with the size of the comp cover even the t2 flanged turbo wouldve had to be cut and turned it a touch anyway, i want to stay mitsi based/style turbos so thats why i wanted the td05 flange, it looks sexy but it will be filtered

Small pointless almost laughable update....I ordered my shift box for my auto it should be here in a few weeks and i'm trying to source a half radiator so there is more room for this turbo i bought.....also the interior is in for good now its satria GTI cloth recaros up front and matching pattern on deleted seat panels in the rear. Just trying to sort another two wheels and abit of cooler piping and it should be close

Did you have a tcu ted? What is it out of?

Nah Jack didnt have a TCU was all wired up for manualisation only just power to a few solenoids

Hi all,
Small update- I made the turbo fit with a stock manifold it JUST fits! Haha please ignore the disgusting state of wiring and cooling system, this radiator isnt being used just in to check clearance of bits and pieces. The dump pipe is also checking out whitch is nice. Now to mount up trans and engine oils coolers starting to hook into more lately im sick of looking at it.

Getting there mate, what was the issue with running this turbo on the factory manifold? What did you have to do to get it to fit?
Be interesting to see how the 1.8 goes with this thing hanging off the side of it!

Not alot to be honest i spent way to much time dicking around with the 6boost and this turbo, i just had to rotate the compressor housing and change the mounting of the actuator it has very little room between the comp housing and block. The 6boost will work fine with a 16g style compressor housing.

Im also going to have to run thermos on the bumper side of the radiator.

Standard M21 brakes with braided brake lines.

Full factory Recaro interior with retrimmed rear seats (slightly different material)

Boot lid, bonnet and front gaurds prepped and ready to paint boot lid may need a little touch up.

Re-covered dash in black vinyl.

Re-trimmed gti steering wheel in black leather.

Very good condition Satria GTI back carpet.

Can come with evo fuel tank.

Lancer 15 inch factory Enkei rims.

 

 

Car wont have:

 

Drivetrain, engine loom, ecu.

Shifter cables

Will come with manual pedal box

Brand new thicker standard look radiator.

No A/C system components.
