EVL 076 MK2... GRANDPA G
Running Gear will be straight out of the other shell...
2.6 Turbo (T3/T04B, 1.06 rear) 10psi
100 HP Power Fogger NOS, with Purge
VLT fuel pump (bosch 070), surge tank, small lift pump
Full length steel fuel line
5 Spd Japper, with proper short shifter, not a chopped gear shifter
Exedy Ceramic Button Clutch
Pepperpots (205/55's all round)
2.5 inch exhaust, dumps at the diff
Astron 1 bottom end - std
Astron 2 M6 head
Factory Sigma Turbo manifolds
and no doubt alot more stuff i have forgotten about
so.....got it home yesty... the only real issues with it are on the ass end, but the tax refund will take care of those (some nasty scratches on the passenger side, and a little dent on the drivers side... bottom of LHF guard has rusted out, but most galants left the factory like that lol, so thats no real concern to me)
a few dodgey pix i took this arvo, once the rain fucks off, i will get some more up..
^^^ can see the damages in those pix ^^^
check this out, still has the plastic from the factory that covers the seat inserts:
VVV can any one say immaculate dash and dash pad (for those that dont know, thats VERY rare in a galant these days, they are all normally cracked and split open) VVV
and finally (for now) door trims with no carpet along the bottom part (something i have never seen before)
the mighty 1600 power house is a little lacking in the power dept, to say the least, and its a little bit quiet for my liking too hahaha
once the weather pulls its head in, im gonna get in and clean it up nice, and a polish, and it should look a little bit better...
i have a pair of R32 GTR seat im gonna look at fitting to it, along with the GTR back seat - its like 2 buckets, and uber cool lol... gonna take the original seats out and keep them in the spare room at mums place, cos they are pretty close to immac, and i aint seen galant seats with cloth inserts before.. so will keep them out of harms way

been a while since an update, so here goes:
2.6 turbo motor is now in and running. Got a couple of small issues but nothin thats worth goin in to detail about here
the woodgrain on the dash has now gone, and its just plain old black there - looks heaps better
It now sports an exterior sun visor across the front screen - totally completes the grandpa look
the standard rims will be back on it this week
the original tail pipe will be bolted back up under the ass, so it looks like its still running the massive 1.25inch exhaust - the real exhaust, 2.5inch (for now) dumps at the diff
i have a commodore diff being shortened for it as we speak, hopefully that wont be far away
the nitrous will be wired up next week
and i gotta rewire the cd player, cos i wanna put it in the glove box to hide it away, so i gotta do some stuffing round there
but prob the biggest update is i brought a cordia, and im gonna put the motor out of that in the galant - i know what ya thinking, but this is no ordinary cordia, its got the 4G63T from a Jspec VR4 Galant in it
that swap wont happen until Feb next year tho, cos i wanna run powercruise with the 2.6 turbo - its more a case of i cant afford to do the FWD to RWD conversion on the motor until then anyways
i will get some more pix up shortly of all the changes and updates

Nice Mate, love the old school car.
When you chuck that 4G63 in let me kno, that "shitter" you have in there now would go nicely in my Triton I reckon!

new cooler has been painted stealth mode black, and is now pretty much invisible behind the grille and bumper
new turbo is a monster...
Master Power T04E "T61 P-Trim", rated at 600hp
91mm compressor wheel (the old turbo had a 60mm compressor wheel, so the new front is a fair bit bigger) its .84 rear, 360degree thrust, 101mm inlet
efi manifold has arrived, will be getting a custom made plenum for it later on, but for now its just a cut n shut magna unit, will be running a VN t/b and 780cc injectors
the haltech loom looks like a nightmare, but its pretty much a straight forward plug in job, as it came from a sigma turbo and already tuned etc etc
custom turbo exhaust manifold looks good. It basically a direct steam pipe copy of the factory cast turbo manifold, but with better flow and a lot less weight. Sits the turbo in the same spot as factory etc etc. Had to get a T3 to T4 adaptor - manifold is T4, new turbo is T3, i could have ordered the manifold with a T3 flange, but even so the compressor housing wouldnt clear the manifold anyways, but the adaptor lifts it around 2 inches and now there is plenty of clearance. And it clears the bonnet too, which i thought it wasnt gonna, so thats a bonus
so yeah, i have enough to keep me occupied for a while
i was gonna be taking it to the drags in november, but there is 100% chance that its not gonna be ready, so its definately gonna be going to the december drag meeting
