I have used redlend drive off mitcham road in mitcham There is an old concrete plant or something that makes for a pretty cool back drop when the sun gets low enough.
The carpark underneath the turnoff near jeff's shed. Has alot of shipping containers and boxes etc. Make for a cool setting that doesn't take away from your car/s.
Also the dam wall in eildon if your ever up there or super keen. They have some cool spots up there. As well as the power station and house boat factories.
Hope they help.
