Question. If ur running a normal east west without front drive shafts to have it as rwd. How do u block the front gearbox to stop oil pouring out. Only thing I can think of is put ur cv joints in but can't see that as best solution

well thats how u do it :)
the one end is bolted on block and its safe..
the other end u just put the joint it.. and if uwant to be safer just make a bracket there just to prevent it from getin out IF something goes wrong and releases it self

Ha ha ha. Makes sense. People have been talking about weaker rear difs in the Evos for rwd Coz they arnt designed to take as much power as a Nissan for example

I've seen a thread on making a rear crossmember fir Evo/gsr. Couldn't u customize the support to hold say a Nissan dif. The customize the tail shaft like u have to do when converting a coupe to awd except use the Nissan joint onto rear dif. I guess u could customize drive shafts to fit aswell.

Couldn't be that expensive to weld a custom did cradle onand getting tail shafts resized isn't pricy at a machinist. Spec in comparison to destroying lots of dogs and changing them or getting really strong custom ones made up anyways

I've seen custom driveshaft "plugs". Pretty sure the Monkhouse VR4 RS ran them for a while.

What about welsh plugs and silicon. Ive seen and done this to block the hole for transfer output shaft, when running a vr4 box fwd in a ggsr.
