does anybody out there know the torque setting for the front wheel hub nut on an evo 3? its the big nut that holds ur stub axle and rotor on. to be more specific, its the front pass. side. i saw in one forum, it said 25-29 ft pounds, which isn't much. hoping someone on this forum can help me out

Its a lot more than that!
I just cross-referenced 3 workshop manuals and GVR4, Eclipse and FWD CC Lancers are all 144-188ft/lbs (200-260Nm). EVO's would be the same no doubt.
We have workshop manuals in the Tech Sticky section, try them out sometime

another site did say 100 Nm. is that a positive answer? i'm just trying to get the right answer to avoid problems later on. VFAQ doesn't have anything

Its your choice to either listen to what people say in forums without any evidence to back it up, or listen to what 3 x Mitsubishi Workshop manuals tell you in black and white lol
